EXCLUSIVE: JULIA GILLARD WAS BEHIND KNIFING OF KEVIN RUDD!

October 27, 2012

Happier times; Julia Gillard and Maxine McKew in 2010

  • Startling new revelations confirm Gillard behind Rudd coup
  • Gillard slammed as an ambitious disloyal deputy
  • A disgusting tale of an unrelenting lust for power and betrayal!!

It’s the latest chapter in the disgusting saga that simply refuses to abandon Julia Gillard, the way in which she plotted against her former boss to bring about his untimely downfall in a brutal night of a thousand knives.

Up until now, Julia Gillard has maintained her position that she knew nothing of the leadership coup plot hatched by faceless union officials including Bill Shorten, Mark Arbib and Paul Howes, however a new tell-all book by respected former ABC journalist Maxine McKew reveals that the leadership assassination had been “planned for months” and its very protagonist was the deputy leader herself Julia Gillard.

In her new book “Tales from The Political Trenches,” McKew reveals details of the sordid background campaign orchestrated by the then deputy leader to de-stabilise Kevin Rudd’s leadership and to ultimately over-throw him in what Labor Party figurehead John Faulkner calls “an act of political bastardry.”

“Gillard consistently represented herself as a last-minute conscript to the party leadership, as someone who was on the periphery of events right up until the final hours of the showdown against Rudd” writes McKew.

“The voting public never bought this. The manner of Rudd’s removal in June 2010 either bewildered or infuriated Australians. In turn, it fed a sense of illegitimacy about Gillard’s tenure and tainted much of what she has attempted since the election of 2010. “

“In the time since the June 2010 coup, a different and more complex story has emerged, one told by ministers and caucus members who feel they were manipulated into a rush of judgment against Rudd. They now see Rudd as the victim of an ambush carried out by a group of political mercenaries.”

According to McKew, John Faulkner said:

”For a party official to use party research to undermine a serving Labor prime minister – or any party leader for that matter – is quite improper and should never, never be tolerated. Unfortunately, this is just what happened in 2010. I am aware of caucus colleagues who were shown or handed research. I consider this was just sheer bastardry.”

The Prime Minister has refused to be drawn of these explosive new allegations.

“These issues have been well traversed in the past and I’m just not focused on them,” she said.

“I’ve actually dealt with all of these issues before on the public record and I just refer you to that. I haven’t got anything further to add. Have a look at everything that’s on the record and you’ll get the answer.”

In other words, “I’ve given you the answer I’m going to give you.”

    This is dynamite.

McKew is reinforcing what we already suspected, joolya tells fibs. The rusted ons will tell us that Tony does too, but that’s of no importance in the electorate’s mind.

According to my script the PM should fall on her sword about now, head down and remorseful….yet she’s a fighter and may decide to carry on regardless of public humiliation.

Now you might think the next polls will produce the catalyst for a leadership spill, but no the politically skilful lady is bringing out a white paper tomorrow …which should see her out of the woods.

I feel a coup coming on.

‘The Labor Party has exploded into open warfare at the highest levels following the defeat of the senior cabinet minister Penny Wong to the number one Senate ticket in favour of one of the lesser known faceless men who helped install Julia Gillard to the Prime Ministership in 2010.

‘Right-faction powerbroker Don Farrell defeated Senator Wong in a ballot today by 112 votes to 83 with the Finance Minister to be listed second on the South Australian Senate ballot paper at the next federal election.

‘Senior Labor frontbencher and left-faction figure Anthony Albanese let fly today at ‘‘union powerbrokers’’ saying Labor’s ongoing factional wars were evidence of a broken internal system.’

Albanese got the last bit dead right!

Senator Wong previously ran in the Number 2 spot in 2007 but the outcome is regarded as embarrassing because Ms Wong is now one of the government’s most senior ministers.

The decision sparked a furious response from federal Labor frontbencher Anthony Albanese. “This is an act of self indulgence which highlights the need for ongoing reform of the Australian Labor Party, Mr Albanese told The Sunday Telegraph.

“Penny Wong is obviously our most talented Senator from South Australia. Full stop. End of Story. Full Stop.

“ALP operatives need to understand that the end audience is always the voting public, not ourselves,” he said.

When questioned she just launched into her prepared recitation of talking points for a couple of minute – “Oim looken tatha fewcha” was the favourite.

When she talks about foreign affairs, I cringe. It reminds me that friends overseas will probably hear a few grabs and judge this country on the basis of her leadership.

Do you know what the question was from NEWS.com.au … ?

Politics inevitably gets dragged to the centre, when political parties take a harsh philosophical position, such as workchoices, there is an electoral backlash. Workchoices was a political lesson and that’s why it is unlikely to be repeated.

Since there is limited differentiation on policy grounds-
    • Marriage equality
    • Asylum seekers
    • General economic policy
    • Overall foreign policy & defence

…the most rational basis for choice is on the basis on integrity. Therefore neither party is worthy of a vote.

It’s a great political party that has a faceless man volunteer to make way for the high performing woman. The ALP itself can’t deliver this outcome, only hack can provide the patronage to Wong.

It’s remarkable how many (Albanese is the latest) are now agreeing that the structure of the ALP is fundamentally f**ked, I seem to recall making this point about 5 years ago, only to be shouted down by some ignorant barrackers.

TB, is there any logic to the Newspoll’s wildly erratic poll results? It seems to be a trend that every second Newspoll has the parties at 50/50, which is at odds with every other polling outfit, bar Morgan’s face to face, which is known to be favourable to Labor due to its method.

I suspect there is a form of “poll seeding” going on. It is designed to “make mainstream” the view that we have a competent government, which is what “blog seeding” is all about. Remember when a few of us were laughed at for suggesting that lefties flooded blogs and online news comments then the Democrats actually advertised the role?

Remember when a few of us suggested that the HSU fraud was likely to be more widespread than just a rogue buying a couple of hookers?

Remember when a few of us suggested that there might be some overstatement of the extent and causes of climate change?

The estimates of daily vote shares suggest that there was a 2 percentage point shift
towards the government over the course of the campaign, almost all of it coming in
the opening weeks of the campaign. Substantial biases specific to polling companies
are also apparent: Morgan and the ANU/ninemsn Internet polls systematically
underestimate Coalition support by large magnitudes. On the other hand, the
average bias of the telephone-based polls is small, and on the threshold of statistical
    significance at conventional levels.

By the time Noah was 500 years old, he was the father of Shem, Ham, and Japheth.

And he built a friggin’ great ark!

The so calledc”ark” has proven to be bullshit….

How could you fit two of everything on a boat?

Who and how would you feed them?

How would you stop them from eating each other…?

Who would clean out the shit….?

It’s all bollocks! Like everything else in the so-called “bible”…..

The barrackers must be so proud of Our Prime Minister!

Having developed a range of innovative policies on asylum seekers*, all with the objective of punishing innocent people (for their own good), she has gone to a point that Howard could only dream about!

Excising Australian from its obligations to protect innocent people fleeing persecution!

    Stand proud Australia!!

    OI!OI!OI!

    *innovative policies include-

    • Off shore = BOO!! Hooray!
    • East Timor = Hooray! I never said East Timor
    • Malaysia = Hooray!! Blame Abbott, because it’s a wonderful policy
    • Nauru = BOO!! HOORAY!!

Missy Gillard is excising the entire mainland from the refugee zone.

I think the refugees will now “need a bigger boat” since the only places left they can head to now are Norfolk Island or Tasmania

I think the radio surveys are being manipulated.

Alan Jones’ ratings went up by half a percent according to Herald Sun website.

That means he increased his audience by about three percent. And apparently most of his advertisers have come back and will be paying higher rates entering a new ratings period.

    It pays to be nasty.

I suspect a Lot of noise-polls are taken in Toorack, the North Shore and Holt Street, Surry Hills where Rupert`s and Mr-Rabbit`s minions dwell.

The gunfight never happened in a Corral and Mr Earp was originally a brothel owner who was also happy to pimp his wife out believe it or not.

‘Why did Noah rescue cockroaches ?’

He didn’t want to but they came onboard anyway, along with rats and every type of conceivable vermin. He would have needed a bigger boat, not that puny ark.

  84. October 30, 2012 11:10 pm

” every type of conceivable vermin. ”
No, the Climate Deniers didn`t make it onto Noah`s Ark.
They relied on their magic garmies.

Meanwhile the media continue to excuse Gillard from her volte face/back flip/u-turn on asylum seekers. The silence is deafening.

It’s beyond me how ALP barrackers can continue to “blame the media” when their incompetent and dishonest leader has occupied every conceivable position on this issue.

I heard Bowen on AM this morning, someone I used to highly regard. He’s proved to be just as underhanded and sleazy as any of them.

It is bizarre that anyone can still vociferously support this government, they deserve a showering of phlegm.
