Julia Gillard Launches Bizarre “Reverse Misogyny” Attack on Coalition

June 11, 2013

art-GillardLW-620x349

  • Gillard declares women “will be banished” under a Coalition Govt
  • Abortion will become the “plaything”of men says Gillard
  • Launches attack on “men who wear blue ties”

In a dramatic turn of events which can only be described as “sheer insanity”(and perhaps altogether highly entertaining),  Prime Minister Julia Gillard has launched a savage attack on the Federal Opposition declaring that the Coalition would “banish women” from parliament in exchange for “men in blue ties.”

According to the Sydney Morning Herald, the PM is raising fears that the controversial issue of abortion could once again “become the political” plaything of men who “think they know better,” if Tony Abbott is elected.

Addressing the launch of Labor’s Women for Gillard campaign, the Prime Minister said women would ”once again [be] banished from the centre of Australia’s political life” under a government led by Tony Abbott.

Gillard says only the Labor party is the party of women and urges against voting for Abbott as it would banish women and replace them for men in blue ties.

“I invite you to imagine it, a prime minister, a man with a blue tie, who goes on holiday to be replaced by a man in a blue tie, a treasurer who delivers a budget wearing a blue tie,” said Ms Gillard.

Oh noes….

I think Gillards latest rant is a warning to the men in her own party as much as it is against tony Abbott. Don’t touch me cause I’m a woman, and I’m not going anywhere, and if you push me I will take you all with me, not a good look for a PM.

Gary Gray is a political animal, but after Paul Keating savaged him for the loss of the 1996 and 1998 elections he moved on.

‘In April 2000, he quit working for the party hierarchy entirely and took up a role with Wesfarmers as the Executive Director of the Western Australian Institute of Medical Research. Within a year, he was engaged by Woodside Petroleum as an adviser on their ultimately successful bid to repel the takeover of the company by the Shell Oil Company.

‘Gray was then asked to join the company, becoming the Director of Corporate Affairs on the company’s executive board. During his time at Woodside, Gray represented the company before governments across the world, acting as a negotiator, advocate and leader.’

Wonder why the PM s new group is called women for Gillard? Should it not be women for labor?

  13. June 11, 2013 6:49 pm

Gillard is trying to create a “gender war” where one doesn’t exist.

    It smacks of desperation.

  14. June 11, 2013 6:51 pm

“Wonder why the PM s new group is called women for Gillard? Should it not be women for labor?”

Good point Hummmph. It’s the same story down at teh cafe… A delusional bunch of pensioners who are rusted-on to Gillard rather than the Labor party… How did it come to this…?

  15. June 11, 2013 6:58 pm

They painted themselves into a corner with every subsequent stumble of the ALP. Eventually, that has meant, to perpetuate the lockstep, they’ve had to adhere to Gillard & sneer at Rudd as the Parliamentary ALP did. This has left them devoid of credibility & (soon) without refuge.

Although, the last refuge of the politically beholden is quite likely to entail blaming all manner of things other than their guru on the day that the ALP gets its arse handed back to it. They’ve actually been practicing the excuses for a long while now. It’s crazy, if they win they win, but when they lose their paradigm will remain intact anyhow, due to some elaborate self deceptions which they’ve been cocooning themselves in over a protracted period.

Gillard is dishonest, she will say and do anything to advance her hold on power. It is Gillard who has set back the advancing of women’s rights and leadership, she is a role model for underhanded double dealing.

    Her duplicity is limitless.

    She’s a sook too.

I think a lot of men will be wearing blue ties to the polling booth on election day, just to ensure Ms Gillard gets the message that the only gender wars exist in her tiny brain. Who’s advising her? Or, more to the point, does she even listen to them?

Maybe the Australian people are the subjects of some warped social experiment, whereby a sitting prime minister its ejected from office by his own party, and his replacement – an unlikeable woman with an unfathomable Welsh/Adelaidean/Boganite/Slater-and-Gordanesque accent – does the exact opposite of what any right-thinking clear-headed person would do under a given set of circumstances. Then watch how long it takes before someone wakes up and blows the whistle on the whole charade.

At least that makes sense. Any other explanation is even more ridiculous.
