Autopsy Shows Michael Brown Was Struck at Least Six Times

August 18, 2014

18BROWN-hp-v2-master675

Right now, a State of Emergency has been declared in the town of Ferguson, where black American teenager Michael Brown was shot dead by police.

The autopsy report has just been released, that shows that the unnamed teenager was struck at least six times by bullets fired by the officers.

One of the bullets entered the top of Mr. Brown’s skull, suggesting his head was bent forward when it struck him and caused a fatal injury, according to Dr. Michael M. Baden, the former chief medical examiner for the City of New York, who flew to Missouri on Sunday at the family’s request to conduct the separate autopsy. It was likely the last of bullets to hit him, he said.

Mr. Brown, 18, was also shot four times in the right arm, he said, adding that all the bullets were fired into his front.

The bullets did not appear to have been shot from very close range because no gunpowder was present on his body. However, that determination could change if it turns out that there is gunshot residue on Mr. Brown’s clothing, to which Dr. Baden did not have access.

USA is strife torn, racially divided, full of resentful get square attitudes based on race, overlaid with plenty of redneck police.

It is a slippery slope, there’s no return once the mutual retribution starts.

Has any police member ever been charged with death by cop?

Here in australia there have been plenty of deaths in custody and no cop is charged. I remember being angry about the palm island death of cameron doomagee and the killer cop still remains in the force. The police investigate themselves – something that really needs to stop, there should be independent investigations.

How Congress Helped Create Ferguson’s Militarized Police:

“Since 2006, the Pentagon has distributed 432 mine-resistant armored vehicles to local police departments. It has also doled out more than 400 other armored vehicles, 500 aircraft, and 93,000 assault rifles.

…This afternoon, the chief gave a second press conference. Why would he do that? Well, he’d somehow managed to create the impression in his first press conference that the officer who killed Mr Brown was responding to the robbery. In fact, that was not the case. The Ferguson policeman was unaware that Brown was a robbery suspect at the time he encountered him and shot him dead. Which is presumably why Chief Jackson was leaned on to give his second press conference and tidy up the mess from the first. So we have an officer who sees two young men, unwanted for any crime, walking down the middle of the street and stops his cruiser. Three minutes later one of them is dead…

    USA is strife torn …

Its a society that suffers permanent PTSD for many reasons … least of which is the subject we regularly discuss here … the widening gap between rich and poor …

Why on earth would anyone want to wander down the US life experience …?

The police investigate themselves – something that really needs to stop, there should be independent investigations.

Agree … its a bit like the HSU investigating itself … or the NSW Liberal Party investigating itself …

Its always fascinated me how organisations like ICAC actually get to do what they do … like Fitzgerald here in Qld … and the CMC before the LNP got their grubby hands on it … now dead in the water …

    JASON RILEY, WALL STREET JOURNAL:

We don’t have all the evidence and I’m hesitant to try and litigate this in the press, but there’s also this false narrative being pushed out there by folks like Michael Eric Dyson and [Al] Sharpton and the rest of the hustlers is that black men live in fear of being shot by cops in these neighborhoods. That too is nonsense. I know something about growing up black and male in the inner city and it’s not that hard to avoid getting shot by a cop. They pull you over, you answer their questions, you are on your way.

The real difficulty is not getting shot by other black people if you are a young black man in these neighborhoods and again that is something we need to talk more about. Cops are not the problem. Cops are not producing these black bodies in the morgues every weekend in Chicago, in New York and Detroit and so forth. That’s not cops. Those other black people shooting black people.

We agree then! Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton and Spike Lee are not “people without power”. They have an interest in ginning up the mob, as do the other radicals who have inserted themselves into this situation from around the country. So, in the absence of facts they inflame the situation by shoe-horning it into their stupid leftist narrative. They are indeed people in power creating chaos.

“I’m curious to know how you know all these protesters are “dumb leftists and political chancers” being apolitical as you are … ?” Are you illiterate or merely deceitful? Here is what I said:

“As soon as anything like this happens, truth goes out the window because dumb leftists and political chancers pre-judge the matter based on their prejudices. They fire up the lynch mob and, chaos ensues.”

You then said “I’m curious to know how you know all these protesters are “dumb leftists and political chancers”.

Your comment was disingenuous since I didn’t refer to all protesters. Can you tell me why you chose to misrepresent what I said?

My interest here is in the political activists, celebrity twats and race hustlers. They chose to jump in with their preferred narrative long before they knew what actually happened. The effect of their malignant actions was violence, death, injury and destruction of property. Don’t you find that disgusting?

No, it would be completely irresponsible for a PM to even think about the possibility much less waste resources taking precautions against it. Even to mention that there may be a problem is clearly a a calculated insult.

We don’t need a more vigilant government. That only inspires fear and loathing. Wisely, the ABC tells us that “our best defence is of course our cultured reason. Our tolerance. Our audacious confidence in the fundamental goodness of others. Maybe even our sense of humour.”

So just forget about all that nasty stuff Australians are doing overseas, and don’t worry about what they might do when they come back, and don’t worry about the ones who are desperate to go over for an Iraqi hack-a-thon but have to stay here for a while. Our cultured reason will save the day! Not to mention our tolerance and our sense of humour. Did you see that picture of the Aussie kid? Oh how we laughed and laughed.

We really need to reinforce the tolerance message. The worst possible thing would be to actually believe these naughty boys when they say they are acting in accordance with the Koran. Everyone knows that Islam is a religion of peace and that is all we need to know about it.

When pictures circulated on social media of journalist James Foley being executed by the Islamic State, journalists came over all sniffy about how vulgar social media is.

Once those pictures were published in the Murdoch press – first The New York Post, later in Sydney’s Daily Telegraph, the snobbery about social media seemed to have gone into abeyance. In its place is some sort of general malaise about the world that we live in, rather than experienced people identifying the problem and calling it out.

I remember a little tête-à-tête between ToM and TomR over name “poaching”

Ah, memories. I can’t recall who the original Tom of Melbourne was though, but I do recall quite few posters querying the “Tom of Melbourne” avatar about his statements until the second yomm fessed up. It was quite out of character for the original.

The original, after much argy bargy by yomm, just said it aint worth it, and became someone else. I just cannot remember who it was 😦

But, that was back in the days when yomm was very vociferous in his support of a particular legislation 🙂

    Now, back to “Trolling” 😆 😆 😆 😆 😆

Two questions – how come the letter T is alphabetically over-represented (TB, ToSy, ToM, Toilet Boss, TomR)? And if el gordo was one of the originals, was he always criticised this much or did the attacks start only after his recent involuntary gender re-assignment?

    Police arrest five Ugandans,
accuse them of trying to turn kids gay
Round-up appears to endorse government’s bid to win back aid from the west

    09 July 2014 | By Tris Reid-Smith
Pader, northern Uganda: Police have arrested five people on suspicion of ‘promoting’ homosexuality.

Five people have been arrested for ‘promoting’ homosexuality in northern Uganda.

The senior officer Pader Central Police Station, Romeo Ojara Onek, confirmed the arrest to the Monitor, and said they are investigating.

He said the among the suspects are two businessmen, one teacher, and two students.

Locals apparently accused the group of ‘promoting’ homosexuality in primary and secondary schools Pader district and ‘recruiting’ pupils and students to be homosexual.

But Ugandan LGBTI campaigner Edwin Sesange dismissed that claim. He said nobody was ‘promoting’ homosexuality or ‘recruiting’ people into being LGBTI and that to do so was impossible.

The new arrests coincide with a statement by the Ugandan Government claiming their Anti-Homosexuality Act has been misinterpreted and is not really anti-gay.

They claim it only aims to ‘stop promotion and exhibition of homosexual practices’.

The new statement was widely seen as a desperate bid by the government to win back aid from the west, cut because of their homophobia.

Sesange, director of the Africa LGBTI Out and Proud Diamond Group, said: ‘The government is trying to invent plots to back up their statement.

‘The government now is trying to play on the minds of Ugandans that homosexuals are trying to promote homosexuality. But nobody is promoting homosexuality.

‘We urge people in Uganda to be vigilant.’

Gay Star News sources in Uganda are trying to uncover more information about the arrests.

What`s the bet that uganda is deeply dog-bothered, my bet christian.

l notice that when these type of dumb-fcuks are reported about, they always omit the failed `turn-them-straight` practices and programs of the past, which were often run by christian dog-clubs. (Perhaps, if their teabag-media actually pointed out these failures of misery to the uganda-govt, they might just spare themselves a whole lot of stupid hurt in uganda.)

‘Just last week, Mexico cleared its final legislative hurdle ending 76 years of state monopoly and approved rules outlining the framework under which foreign companies will invest and drill for oil and natural gas in Mexico.

‘The recent expansion of oil and gas production in Northern Mexico is expected to top $1 trillion in investment over 10 years and create over 2.5 million new jobs by 2025 creating a new energy paradigm for North America. By combining the United States, Canada, and Mexico, oil and gas production in North America will be bigger than OPEC.’

Aleppo, one of the last strongholds of the Syrian opposition, is on the verge of falling into the hands of ISIS. The loss of Aleppo would essentially end any hope of the Free Syrian Army operating as a viable fighting force going forward, as its members would disappear into the fray or if any dare fight on be mopped up by either the regime forces or ISIS. Moreover, if Aleppo falls into the grasp of the tyrant Al-Baghdadi and his many slaves, ISIS will attain a sense of security and confidence not previously enjoyed by the group. They will possess territory in two distinct sovereign entities (Iraq and Syria) and have absolute control over three major cities (Raqqa, Mosul and Aleppo).”)

Actually, the argument itself might have been short in the big picture but since from memory it started early in the day, one “evening” seems a stretch. It is also true that the brevity of the argument had everything to do with the original Tom of Melbourne and nothing at all to do with yourself yomm. But, I do recall the original Tom of Melbourne disappearing for a while and then reappearing as Thomas de loc(?) something or other, and stating with wtte that he couldn’t believe someone could be so childish and petulant. Ah, but we were only getting a prelude then 😉

Basically, you stamped your little foot and said “I’m Tom, and so’s my wife”!

It was a pretty un-impressive introduction, to say the least.

After which, you began defending workchoices at every opportunity. Some saw this as a ‘vociferous’ support of said legislation, which, when confronted with the allegation at the time, you were also unable to refute, although the denials didn’t start until years later.

History, it’s an ever shifting enterprise, aint it? 😉

”””””””””””’The Federal Aviation Administration today issued a new Notice To Airmen (NOTAM) restricting U.S. operators from flying in the Damascus Flight Information Region, which includes all of Syria. This replaces the current NOTAM in place that strongly advises U.S. operators against flying in that airspace and requires them to contact the FAA before they operate in that airspace. Based on an updated assessment of the risk associated with such operations and the lack of any requests from operators wishing to fly in this airspace, we believe it prudent to prohibit U.S. operators from flying into, out of, and over Syria.

The restricted area includes the entire Simferopol and Dnepropetrovsk flight information regions (FIRs). This action expands a prohibition of U.S. flight operations issued by the FAA in April, over the Crimean region of Ukraine and adjacent areas of the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov. Whenever they carry on with their religion shoehorned down the microscope crap, they just remind ‘normal’ people how ludicrous their fantasy worldview is.

At least then their ignorant religious bias is out in the sunlight & they may be more easily judged by its unhidden malignancy.

    and in the case of
Early Onset Verses When l Was a Boy

    .

”””””””””according to investigative reporter Radley Balko, over the last several decades, America’s cops have increasingly come to resemble ground troops. The consequences have been dire: the home is no longer a place of sanctuary, the Fourth Amendment has been gutted, and police today have been conditioned to see the citizens they serve as an other—an enemy.

Today’s armored-up policemen are a far cry from the constables of early America. The unrest of the 1960s brought about the invention of the SWAT unit—which in turn led to the debut of military tactics in the ranks of police officers. Nixon’s War on Drugs, Reagan’s War on Poverty, Clinton’s COPS program, the post–9/11 security state under Bush and Obama: by degrees, each of these innovations expanded and empowered police forces, always at the expense of civil liberties. And these are just four among a slew of reckless programs.

In Rise of the Warrior Cop, Balko shows how politicians’ ill-considered policies and relentless declarations of war against vague enemies like crime, drugs, and terror have blurred the distinction between cop and soldier. His fascinating, frightening narrative shows how over a generation, a creeping battlefield mentality has isolated and alienated American police officers and put them on a collision course with the values of a free society.

3.2.1.5 Recruiting and Hiring the Veteran
The wars in Iraq and Afghanistan swelled the ranks of the military.
Currently, returning veterans are entering the job market, and many will consider a
career in policing. Veterans typically possess many character traits and skills that
translate well to policing (e.g., a sense of service and commitment, an understanding
of the chain of command, good order and discipline, the ability to work in extremely
stressful situations). No doubt, many with military experience will make excellent
police officers, and agencies are already making special efforts to hire them.
However, veterans bring with them their own unique personnel challenges
that may affect agencies well into the future. Some who saw action will no doubt
suffer from PTSD, which could negatively affect their personal lives and job
performance for many years (see Section 3.4.3: Combat and Trauma-Related
    Issues).

Additionally, many agencies are carving out special exceptions to their
hiring policies to accommodate veterans. Recently, the Philadelphia Police Department raised its educational standards to 60 college credits for new hires but
will waive that requirement for veterans. Some experts worry that this will create a
“dual culture” within agencies, with as yet unforeseen consequences (Joyce, 2012).
For example, will veterans with fewer educational credits be less competitive in the
promotional process? There are steps that police leaders can take to anticipate and
ameliorate these challenges; with regard to the previous example, management
could encourage officers to take full advantage of their GI Bill of Rights educational
benefits and provide a work environment that accommodates and promotes
    scholastic achievement.

    Prepared for the
Bureau of Justice Assistance, Law Enforcement Forecasting Group #pdf

”””””””””Veterans are currently returning from the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
    Many of them are reservists who previously served as public safety professionals;
additionally, many former military personnel will inevitably enter policing in the
next several years. While most service members readjust well once they have
returned home, a certain percentage do not. Some combat-related issues, such as
Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), may not show themselves for years.
Officers suffering from PTSD put themselves, their agencies, and the community at
    risk.”””””””””’
