What’s not to like about Hawthorn?

It’s a fact that this is the most loathsome collection of supporters in the AFL.
Then we have their opponents, Sydney, representing the entire 5 kilometre stretch of coast from Bondi to Coogee. It’s the home of middle class surfers, dole bludging backpackers and supermodels.
The Sydney supporter base is preferred, plus Buddy Franklin will kick 4.12, and costly import Kurt Tippet 3.5.
In other big football news, there has been the huge contest this season between Essendon and Ethics. Essendon has proven up to the challenge of fending off Ethics. With Essendon and their aging pop star poster boy James Hird, constantly demanding their right to reply to the allegations, then using every possible legal manoeuvre to stymie answering allegations.
Fair minded sports fans are supporting a win for Ethics, and a result is expected in December 2020.

The Essendon/James Hird saga remains interesting (to me). I can’t stand the club or Hird, they have (in my opinion) been negligent in exercising their responsibilities towards their employees.
…But dismissing an employee (the coach) because they are exercising their legal rights in dealing with a matter relating to their employment is also disgraceful.
No doubt Hird is getting plenty of legal advice, but the board of Essendon might have a look at ‘adverse action’
Has James (pretentious turd) Hird been sacked?!
