Six teenagers immune to a zombie virus are captured bled for the cure by the government … they escape … they are chased by zombies … they escape … they are captured by a bloke and his daughter … the government attack them … they escape with the bloke that captured them … they are captured by good guys … who are attacked by the government … they escape but one of the teenagers is captured … the end! (and the next sequel set up)
Fell asleep twice … even the coffee and a pee didn’t help!
Graphics are very good … should have spent the money on a script!

My progeny was keen as fuck for the movie, has read the books, apparently.
Watched it on Saturday & was disgusted at the shell left behind by Hollywoodisation (she’s attuned to such phenomena, on account of her horrible father’s cynicism & shared longing for gritty, well written & acted TV/Movies [just watching The Wire with her now, fwiw]). Not a happy camper. Ruined the potential of the book, allegedly.

It was 10:20 am start … unlike Mexicans I don’t drink alco pops 24/7 … just having my glass of wine now … good slosh of Bowlers Run sem/sav/blanc still only $2.80 a bottle in any six …!
