Negative Jeering from RWNJs leads to collapse in Turnbull support

In contrast to his smarmy, smug demeanour of self-satisfaction, the latest Newspoll dished up by that Murdoch rag “The Australian” has Malcolm Turnbull’s satisfaction careering into negative territory for the first time.

The poll shows satisfaction with Turnbull’s performance at 39%, a considerable slide of five points in the last fortnight, and dissatisfaction at 44%, up by three points.

The net satisfaction rating at minus five points is the first time Turnbull’s approval has fallen into negative territory as Prime Minister.

It marks a significant deterioration from the glory days back in November when the Prince of Point Piper enjoyed net approval rating of 38 points and voter satisfaction with his performance was riding high at 60%

The results come up as the PM, who, once seen as the moderate voice of the Liberal – National Party coalition, surrendered to the rabid right wing religious nutjobs’ recent demands to overhaul the widely popular Safe Schools anti-bullying program.

The pathetic capitulation, represents not just a defeat of the rights of all school children to enjoy an education in an environment that is free of physical and emotional harassment and intimidation, but also confirms that the bullies have won.

It’s just another slap in the face for those who thought Turnbull was going to represent a departure of the bully-boy tactics employed by his predecessor Tony Abbott.

In fact, as some have suggested, it appears that the “far right” are now exercising greater unfettered power and influence under Malcolm’s vacuous so-called “leadership” than under Abbott’s train wreck of a government.

A Negative Jeering here too …

The simple test? Count the number of homes you own. If the number is any fewer than four — whether or not the value of properties one, two and three add up to tens of millions of dollars — you’re simply run-of-the-mill wealthy.

If that sounds like a bullsh*t aspiration for those with more millions in the bank than they know what to do with, you’re on the money.

    And More Negative Jeering …

Cabinet Secretary Arthur Sinodinos has indicated the government is leaning towards a company tax rate cut rather than the once-promise personal income tax cuts as part of an overall package.

While Mr Morrison avoided confirming that, he did say the government had to do things that drove investment.

“If we don’t drive investment, we can’t drive growth and that means we can’t drive jobs,” he said.

There wasn’t a lot of room in the budget and when the government opted against raising the GST rate it meant the opportunity for major changes in income tax were “largely removed”.

“You can’t pay for something with nothing,” Mr Morrison said.

What a bout paying people a decent wage! From all those “bumper profits” we keep seeing … a company tax cut doesn’t drive jobs at all it goes in to corporate profits and on to shareholders (yeah, I’m one of ’em!) …

And just how much tax do companies pay anyway? Whatever the rate … !

PM: “If we do proceed to a double-dissolution election, the election will be on Saturday the 2nd of July.”

Go on say something, you'll feel better...
