Multi-cultural billboard causes national outrage!

January 18, 2017

capture

A billboard depicting two smiling Muslim girls with the Australian flag has been removed after threats were made against the company behind it.

The digital sign featured rolling images of people from various cultural backgrounds, however the the picture of two Muslim girls celebrating Australia Day caused a national outrage.

One Facebook user commented: “This is f**kin shit. Take the s*** down and replace them with full blood real Aussie’s [sic] or anything Aussie related. U no people playing cricket at the beach, BBQ, thongs, beer. Anything but this… I thought Australia Day was meant to be about OUR culture like it used to b, not about Muslim people.”

Another Facebook user said the billboard indicates Australia “is now a Muslim country” and that it is directing all women to wear hijabs.

“Let’s put real Aussies on the posters wearing expected Aussie gear, not clothes dictated by men in a foreign land. Let’s get Australia back to being Australian!”

The billboard also copped the ire of Pauline Hanson who is calling for the burqa to be banned in Queensland.

It’s kind of ironic that One Nation’s ethos insists that Muslims who arrive here should “assimilate to our way of life,” but when they try to, we tell them to fuck off anyway.

Just another over reach by the Social Justice Warriors of the Left.

At a time of World tension about Islam why would you deliberately bring Islam or any religion for that matter onto an Australia Day billboard if not just to provoke a reaction.

The SJWs shoot themselves in the foot once again

Really………….well lets have a look at QMS’ Facebook page.

All I see is a couple of people objecting to the image then an avalance of hatred from the Lefties for daring to say what they thought.

Hate from the Left……….nothing new about that

Tom of Melbourne, Priests, Nuns and the Pope wear those idiotic outfits because it is their choice to join a religious order which requires them to wear the clothes they do. The burqa is forced upon women by male religious fanatics.

I feel for those two beautiful young girls [who appear to be proudly australian] being told they are not acceptable. Aboriginal ‘first’ australians…no, muslim australians…no. Change the date and call it ‘judeo-christian’ day or ‘white australia’ day.

Down on the coast over the holidays I noticed there were lots of men of middle eastern appearance wearing board shorts, swimming and enjoying themselves on the beach!

    Great!

Meanwhile the wives and daughters were fully covered, just sitting in the sweltering heat, without the water for respite.

Can that rationally be regarded as their choice?

    My bold …

Many religions are used as a tool to empower men over women … the two that immediately spring to mind are Catholicism and Islamism … Judaism seems to recognise male and female equally but in different roles* …

And can we really say that women in Australian society are treated equally to men … I think not!

    *(happy to be corrected)

I don’t excuse the suppression of ANY women … you have a problem with Islam … not me … as you should know by now I detest all religions for their control and manipulation, greed, spite, deceit … mostly run by men for men …

Right wing politics doesn’t do much for women at all … no matter what their religion – or not.

And you choose to select one religion and one political “side” … GMAFB, ToM …

    As I said … weak as …

ToM you can be left leaning and denounce the suppression of women orchestrated by Islam. I detest the suppression of anyone by any religion. To state that the left excuses the suppression of women is a very broad generalisation.

So true of Julie Bishop. A new flash outfit every single time she appears anywhere. How can she afford them all ?. Oh that’s right, she steals from us taxpayers by skirting the rules on expenses, that’s how :).

Shane, I think “the right” has a well earned reputation for ignoring inequality and discrimination.

On the other hand people of “the left” present themselves as having superior social standards, ethics, they say they care more about social issues than about economics.

But they are mainly selective hypocrites, the rigorous and institutionalised suppression of women by Islam is just an example, and it scarcely raises a ripple in the left.

People of the left tend to just say – I don’t like any religions, as if Islam has the same human impact as Hinduism or Buddhism or (yes) Christianity.
