End of the world still coming soon.

September 25, 2017

Actual photo.

The end of the world is still coming soon, Christian numerologists say — it was just postponed.

Saturday passed without the world coming to an end, but we’re not out of the woods yet.

The Doomsday writer who claimed that the world would end on Sept 23 now says it will end on October 21.

Christian numerologist David Meade predicted Sept 23 as the date a mysterious Planet X would collide with Earth based largely on verses and numerical codes in the Bible.

Meade said his prediction is based on ‘secret codes’ found in the Bible, specifically in the apocalyptic Book of Revelation. He said recent events, such as the solar eclipse and Hurricanes Irma and Harvey, are omens of the approaching apocalypse.

The significant number is 33, according to Meade.

“Jesus lived for 33 years. The name Elohim, which is the name of God for the Jews, was mentioned 33 times [in the Bible],” he said. “It’s a very biblically significant, numerologically significant number. I’m talking astronomy. I’m talking the Bible…and merging the two.”

Sept 23 is also 33 days since the Aug 21 solar eclipse.

Meade has built his theory on the so-called Planet X, which is also known as Nibiru, which he says would pass Earth on Sept 23. This will cause volcanic eruptions, tsunamis and earthquakes, he said.

DOOMSDAY IS NOT ON SATURDAY AFTER ALL, WRITER SAYS AFTER PREDICTING END OF THE WORLD

However, the author has since clarified that October will be the month of “action” and “seven years” of war and disaster will begin Oct. 21.

“It is possible at the end of October we may be about to enter into the seven-year Tribulation period, to be followed by a Millennium of peace,” Meade told The Gutter Trash.

NASA said Planet X does not exist.

I have a friend who filled her house with tinned food when the mayan calendar said the world as we know it was ending. She is going to be eating a lot of processed food for years to come. Hopefully she won’t read this gits comments or the house will be weighed down even further.

Not far from Coonabarabran is a sign that has been nailed to a tree for as long as I can remember as a child, and it is still there, it says “The Lord is Coming and his Reign is near”. Wonder how much longer we have to wait as the sign is starting to rust and the tree has grown massive in size.

These End of Days fantasies just prove the whole RELIGIOUS FANTASY fairytale!

Michael West was the investigative journalist at fairfax for business and covered some big stories, he was ‘let go’ when a lot of the other journos lost their jobs.

“Burying salt in a big hole in the ground is not a long-term sustainable solution,” Professor Khan said. “It’s simply transferring responsibility for managing the problem to future generations.”

I work with an evangelical type, she told me [just in casual conversation] that she was getting quite excited about the ‘end of times’ because she knows all this environmental and political unrest, WW3, has been prophesied and it’s all coming true now. Sept 23 rd was very big on her calendar, she’s been on days off, so I don’t know what she will say about the non-event. She was telling me that I was going to die because of my non belief and that is just the price I will pay [no compassion these god botherers], while she already knows she will be coming back riding a white horse.
I’ll be glad to be dead I think!

    It’s the prophecy.

For sure, she was very unhappy and near suicidal before she was ‘found & saved’ by god, she is also making her kids very unhappy and there are the beginnings of emotional and school problems.

Still dodgy i think, amazing how Abbott always has influential people protecting him. It’s the reason his craziness is tolerated.

But you are right, oddly enough a lot of younger people like the stuff I do – primarily 50/60’s, slipping into 70’s and a few 80’s … after that I’m a dead duck! But a lot of the kids like the stuff I do too … I guess ’cause its different for them and they don’t know how I know some of the “modern” songs … just sung differently … 😉

    BUT! I just checked my song list … 200+ … and that’s songs I can perform …

    What a lousy life! Chuckle!

(At my last b/day party I decided to take the guests on a ride of music through the decades of my life… and linked each decade with three or four live songs … for the 90’s 20’s my son took over – with his )

They like the 50s 60s 70s and 80s because they can actually dance to them and can understand the lyrics. When I lived in a town out west my neighbours sons school had a end of year dance for his class, he was around 10 I think. Went along and they were playing the crap rap and latest singles music and all of the kids seemed bored. So I went home packed up my stereo and speakers and brought my old 70s and 80s CD and put on ABBA, well straight away they were all up and dancing and the afternoon turned into a success. I still remember how so many so called cool kids stated they hated ABBA after being mad about them for a number of years ( hypocrites) I have loved their music from day 1 and never went through the denial years. It is now proven that their music is timeless and a new generation comes around to listen to the music that we all first heard from ABBA in the 70s and 80s.

I think the next step is the privatisation of the ABC forcing it to generate revenue from advertising and that’s when all independence flies out the window. Yer right, Shane, Birmigham, agrees …. he said today “a vote for xylophone is a vote for Liberal!” FFS!

I’m really getting pissed off with the ignorance of people … its like history has never existed and learning has to be constantly and painfully learned by each fourth generation!

    And I’ve figured out what I am politically – a Social Capitalist … (that’ll fuck a few simple minds … )

I used to say I was a Social Democrat (and KL correct me if I’m wrong but you do too?) …

Here’s why … Communism is only one step away from Fascism (where our LNP are currently heading – and the ALP seems to be heading) … and both extremes are control ideologies – think the novel 1984 – Command Economies may be great in theory but they have become another method of the rich (Elites) controlling the poor … no equality …

Capitalism is no different it has become Uber Kapitalism using Democracy as the vehicle to control the poor by the rich (Elites) …

Capitalism if controlled by the individual has proven to be a better process than Command controlled by the government … (or has it?)

But Capitalism controlled by the people has to be the superior system … and under Socialism there are elections of representatives BUT no political parties!

There are some flaws in my proposition and I’d love to read you guys input!

    +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

I still haven’t changed my opinion of nearly all independents being liberals in disguise. Labor are agreeing with all the erosions to our privacy & liberty that the libs can cough up, and that really angers me, we badly need a bill of rights now, the politicians refuse to work for us, they are working for the corporations, they make that very clear. Bill shorten is a neoliberal advocate and I’d love to see him deposed as leader of labor, give someone else a go, someone who will do more than maintain the status quo. Our political system needs such a shake-up! I’d happily get rid of them all, the whole corrupt and corrupted lot of them, We need to start over.

I used to say I was a Social Democrat (and KL correct me if I’m wrong but you do too?)

Yes I am TB, my politics align more with jeremy corbyn and bernie sanders – two people who have spent their entire political careers fighting for the SD cause and to change the system. I like the scandinavian model, it is much more inclusive and representative of the people. I have been very disappointed with the greens while under the control of richard di natale. I don’t know what they want to achieve anymore.

…But Capitalism controlled by the people has to be the superior system … and under Socialism there are elections of representatives BUT no political parties!…

That’s where i think Keating and Hawke ruined it for us, they made the unions and workers part of the neoliberal capitalist system, now we are a society of uber capitalists and greedy libertarians who don’t give a damn about those worse off than themselves and refuse to help anyone but themselves.

We should have had the unions and the workers taking control of the means of production [the workplace] by becoming part of the ownership structure in the boardrooms and elsewhere so we can all share the pie and the profits are divided equally and hopefully there would be respect for the workers and workers would be happy to work hard for their share of profits.

Men have still got a system that continues to support the patriarchy where male superiority is still the dominant force [that’s what abbott & co are fighting to keep], women have not gained equality fast enough, the misogyny of many australian men is oppressing women here. I hope things will be changing soon, I feel the ?Gen Z won’t tolerate being treated as lesser than equal.
Maybe all the girls should opt for gender change to boys at school – that’ll learn ’em! 😜

Now lets look at the pattern/culture of limited-news and its trolls. They have a convicted racist(blot) for dulux color charting aboriginals. They have a convicted troll(overington) for slandering wilson. ln britannia rupert-press have convictions for hacking and interfering with plod investigations. Then surprisingly premier grew some nads when it came to `gas` and told barrie that twice the amount of gas was produced by his state than his state needed, and his citizens and biz should receive their gas first, with only the `excess` being sold off. Talkbull needed to fix it, as the `national-market` was a clowntown instrument.

l`m not sure this is the same thing. A while back the pay got leaked of my abc staff. On my abc breakfast clap-trap trioli was getting about 300k/pa, while sidekick-mike got 150k/pa. But the numbers alone probably don`t tell the `full` story, maybe sidekick-mike usually `only` does breakfast claptrap, while trioli may have to stick around for further/extra jobs(radio?) From the guardian, it seems karl gets stuck with the extra jobs at 2mill/pa. To me it looks like Lisa shot herself in the head leaving 1.8mill/pa. Mediawatch also pointed out not too long back that Lisa made a few hundred-K peddling vitamins (and possibly shredding her journalism cred by advertising dubious product/s)

l really think the poor lisa-v-karl`s exorbidant pay/s; or westpac female ceo only 97% greedy as previous male; don`t carry any traction among very large chunks of viewers. Too many viewers have family, friends, neighbors that are experiencing `true` injustice in their employment (eg retail`n restaurant) where the workers cannot earn `sufficient` to live `normally` in their own country. T,
Your power bills are too high.

That’s why the Government has taken action to deliver more affordable and more reliable electricity for Australian families and businesses.

The National Energy Guarantee will require energy retailers to guarantee the reliability of their energy supplies.

And they will have to guarantee their energy sources will enable Australia to meet our emissions reduction commitments.

These guarantees will ensure there is a place for all power sources in the nation’s future energy mix: solar, wind, coal, gas, batteries and pumped hydro.

Our plan has no subsidies, no certificates – and no new taxes. It doesn’t involve the Government picking winners.

Based on the advice of independent experts, the National Energy Guarantee will provide certainty, encourage investment, and put downward pressure on prices.

The __California electricity crisis, also known as the Western U.S. Energy Crisis of 2000 and 2001, was a situation in which the United States state of California had a shortage of electricity supply __caused by market manipulations, illegal[5] shutdowns of pipelines by the Texas energy consortium Enron, and capped retail electricity prices.[6] The state suffered from multiple large-scale blackouts, one of the state’s largest energy companies collapsed, and the economic fall-out greatly harmed Governor Gray Davis’ standing.

California had an installed generating capacity of 45 GW. At the time of the blackouts, demand was 28 GW. A demand supply gap was created by energy companies, mainly Enron, to create an artificial shortage. Energy traders took power plants offline for maintenance in days of peak demand to increase the price.[8][9] Traders were thus able to sell power at premium prices, sometimes up to a factor of 20 times its normal value. Because the state government had a cap on retail electricity charges, this market manipulation squeezed the industry’s revenue margins, causing the bankruptcy of Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) and near bankruptcy of Southern California Edison in early 2001.[7]:2-3

The financial crisis was possible because of partial __deregulation

As far as l`m concerned, the clowntown teabags are trying to lay the groundwork for future `manufactured` disasters here, despite less demand caused by less industry. More auto went today.

“So, we’ve secured land in those regions on which to build our cities. When we turn that land from agricultural land to high-value residential, retail, commercial and industrial land — the value created from that is ample enough to give us the resources to offset the capital costs of the large scale infrastructure. This is the high-speed rail, but also the major infrastructure in each of our cities.”

As for energy problems I suggest to anyone and everyone … get a solar system – there are interest free loans and the money used to pay for electricity bills can be diverted to pay the capital off … eventually leaving most folk with either no cost, little cost or a return on investment … this will also free up excess power for industry and reduce emissions …

Now why don’t the government invest in domestic installations? One in four homes are now solar powered … that leaves quite a lot of opportunity …

And if the government then funded manufacturing renewable energy equipment and storage in SA and Vic. … ah fuck I give up …

REPORTER: How long have you been trying to warn people about the rising sea levels here in Miami?

PROFESSOR HAROLD WANLESS, : My first talk is, was, I know I gave one in 1981.

    +snip

PROFESSOR HAROLD WANLESS: It`s quite vulnerable. So this is Palm Beach and this is Mar-a-Lago, one of Trump`s residences.

It`s President Trump`s pride and joy. The sprawling estate of Mar-a-Lago has become a de facto White House.

REPORTER: So will this place exist as we know it in 100 years?

PROFESSOR HAROLD WANLESS: If I`m right, this will be something you can go snorkel on. It will be quite famous; it will be a former president’s mansion.

REPORTER: It will be a former president`s mansion, in Atlantis.

PROFESSOR HAROLD WANLESS: In Atlantis, right. This will no longer Palm Beach, this will be Atlantis 2. This will be a very popular dive site.

Trainy trainy, (small file) Last years, newcastle,

    Click to access psb-bcomn-pathway_1-dec-2016.pdf

Notice the top half dozen lines. B of C, Major in pr, Major in Journ. lf you notice all the modules, most are CMNSnumber, from memory, comms media and network study. l suppose various govts like to meddle with the names over time to imply they are doing things. The east-coast came up as `b of c` when l goggled, west-coast was different, and canoeland didn`t get a hit. l still reckon it won`t matter how they re-re-re-brand the trainy trainy or how often, when all it produces is duds, interchangable with other duds.

l`d be less concerned about the pinkists time-off. As `our` teabags have spent most of the year hiding under their rock; due to most of the major news items proving big-bad-bagz correct; and showing what total-fools on `every` level the teabags and their imbecile cheer-squad actually are. Panama-papers. 4corners. Paradise papers. Inferno-cladding. All showing the destruction of any whiff of `fairness` for voters among so-called democratic nations. When it has all died down tho, the usual dumbfcuks will return to `pretend` that the govt getting 89-cents from every $100 nike take out of the country is `good`; and telegraph wires will `innovate` our future; and we can `all` sleep soundly despite the inferno cladding many are wrapped in. #teabags #so.called.accountants
