Gladys Berejiklian: The Tractor. The iPad. The Cover Up!

October 14, 2020

GLADYS BEREJIKLIAN’S political career is almost certainly over as the sordid details of her love-struck relationship with dodgy and now disgraced former MP Daryl Maguire become clearer (or murkier) by the day.

Her former flame is fronting the Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) to answer questions about whether his behaviour while in parliament could be considered corrupt.

Berejiklian claims she has “tried to be as frank as possible” about her relationship with Daryl Maguire, while not being frank at all.  Although entitled to some degree of privacy in theory, she’s desperately clinging to semantics for her political survival.

It’s already been revealed that she met with two publicans with criminal records at the behest of Maguire, while Maguire himself suffered an unfortunate mishap where his iPhone and iPad were destroyed in a freak tractor incident – destroying potentially incriminating evidence.

To be fair it’s happened to us all at some point. Tractor. iPad. iPhone. Just an accident waiting to happen, really…

    Just in:

Former Wagga Wagga MP Daryl Maguire admitted using his parliamentary office for private business, including receiving what counsel assisting ICAC says was “thousands of dollars in cash” in return for visas for Chinese nationals.

    Here’s a nice excuse:

You could hear the Premier rustling papers and, in fact, you would almost have to say that she was bored with this absolute bore that was on the other side of the phone.”

Looks like Daryl’s hot little cum dumpster was getting bored with him and his corrupt ways!

    Also from Gladys’s defender:

“He also said a strong observation he made from tapped phone conversations played earlier this week was that Gladys Berejiklian was disinterested.”

I think he means uninterested. Nevertheless, as premier, she should have been ‘interested” enough to ditch the fucker and report him to the police.

It’s been runoured that the ipad and phone were spooked off the tractor when an African Swallow flying by dropped the coconut it was carrying (hat tip to some tweeter from early this morning)

Yes, isn’t it fkn remarkable how those who find fault with Dan Andrews fronting up to the media to answer questions from the media for over 100 days in a row, are completely silent when it comes to Scott Morrison simply refusing to front an enquiry and preventing his ministers from also appearing.

Prime Minister Scott Morrison says people who earn $180,000 aren’t ‘rich’

Australian National University associate professor Ben Phillips told news.com.au that there was no doubt that any worker earning $180,000 was “doing pretty well.”

“The average income for a worker is around $85,000. The median would be more like $60,000. If you’re earning $180,000 you’re in the top 4 per cent of incomes or thereabouts.

“Household income is a little different. It’s more around $100,000 on average but the median would be lower.”

Peta Credlin had an interesting segment last night.

Andrews crew stepped out of the National cabinet meeting at 12.30 27 March.

United Security CEO sent an urgent email at 12.36 to all staff to complete an online Covid course (10 minutes duration) by 2.30 PM and send certificate to him.

United Security, not a preferred supplier gets the contract.

Evidence was first contact was an 11.30 email. In fact there was a phone call at 10.30. So those who said the email was first contact were lying.

I wonder if Coate will be interested to check on the calls made to that number, who had it and why?

Just another political cesspit. And 800 murder victims.

Looks like the Perfesser might have been telling porkies too.

Victoria’s Department of Health has been asked to supply fresh documents to the hotel quarantine inquiry relating to questions over the accuracy of testimony provided by Chief Health Officer Brett Sutton.

Professor Sutton told the inquiry in both a witness statement and in verbal testimony in September that he did not know private security companies were guarding quarantine hotels until he became aware of the COVID-19 outbreak at the Rydges on Swanston in late May.

But several senior departmental sources say they were surprised at Professor Sutton’s evidence, and have suggested he knew much earlier. And now correspondence seen by The Age shows Professor Sutton knew in late March or early April that private security guards were the preferred model. That correspondence was not provided to the inquiry, despite its request for all relevant documents.

The Department of Health and Human Services told The Age late on Thursday that it had received a recent request from the board of inquiry for relevant documents and is in the process of responding to the request, but would not comment further…

Daryl Maguire doesn’t have a great deal of luck with technology and farm equipment.

Following on from his recent admission that he dropped his iPad and his iPhone and they were run over by a tractor, today he revealed to the commission that he also dropped a USB key at his farm gate, which was then run over by another vehicle, but then by sheer happenstance he found it again a few days later.

Queensland has the potential to draw all of its electricity from renewable sources in a 15-year transition away from fossil fuels that would generate almost 10,000 jobs, according to analysis commissioned by the Queensland Conservation Council.

Almost 11,000 ongoing jobs would then operate and maintain a suite of energy sources either existing or proposed in the state, including wind and solar and farms, hydro plants and battery projects.

The Victorian premier, Daniel Andrews, has condemned failures that allowed a mystery group of 17 New Zealanders to fly into the state on Friday, criticising the Australian Border Force for delays in providing vital passenger information and writing to Scott Morrison to express his disappointment.

Seventeen New Zealanders who travelled to Sydney through the newly formed international travel bubble were allowed to fly to Melbourne airport late Friday afternoon, despite the state expressly excluding itself from the bubble arrangement.

The group left the airport quickly after arriving and state authorities had no power to stop them. The location of the group is still unknown, though they are believed to be in metropolitan Melbourne.

And if there is another “cluster” whose to blame?

Sure, it initially got away. probably wouldn’t have been half as bad if the feds hadn’t kept pushing to open, and hadn’t underfunded aged care so much that the State had to send rare resources into them to stop it there too. * did not undertake safety audits of their sites?

And… NSW always provided specific information about the locations of cases and warned people to be mindful. Victoria has only started to do this in the past couple of weeks.

If only they cared even half as much about the massively worst rorts happening within their own ranks, or the massive damage their ideology has left in it’s wake

but another sign that the Coalition is unhappy with the commission’s direction came when Liberal senator Amanda Stoker grilled officials in estimates about three-year-old musings on Twitter by the commission’s media officer, former journalist Kate Hannon. Shadow home affairs minister Kristina Keneally questioned why the Coalition was more concerned with a few old tweets than the 683 deaths that have occurred in aged care during the pandemic, and accused federal cabinet of “disdain” for the commission. She was shut down, but the contrast between the gravity of Rozen’s address and the childish partisan politics of the Morrison government is appalling.

As my old boss at News told me, don’t engage. Write the next piece. Move on. You’re in the big league now.

    It is standard operating procedure.

It is a power play, and it is wielded relentlessly.

    …..

The real issue is that the biggest media organisation in the country saw fit to send an obviously partisan player to goad a Labor premier in an obviously partisan way, at the height of pandemic, when viewers often just wanted basic information.

There is a second problem with the making-the-sausage excuse and it is that sometimes, the end product looks more like a shit-sandwich than a sausage.

The real issue is that … the sycophant media spent its time and credibility acting as Running Dog Dan’s PR department. Instead of asking hard questions they attacked the real journalists who did.

We still don’t know who tipped off David Millward to give Unified Security pole position to get the $30m contract. And we don’t know who made the murderous decision to kill Victorians with incompetent security guards. If the Andrews arse-lickers of the fake news media did their jobs we would know the answer to those questions by now.

Confirming Associate Justice Amy Coney Barrett is within the power of the Senate. It is also within the power of the Senate to decline to confirm a nominee. Now that she is sworn in she can start hearing cases.

    In 2016 Creepy Joe said:

“I know there is an argument that no nominee should be voted on in the last year of a presidency. But there is nothing in the Constitution — or our history — to support this view.”

he got cases down from very high, to very low

Since we don’t know exactly why this got out here, and not elsewhere, then it’s hard to lay the blame. Unlike something like aged care, where the vast majority of cases ended up. The Government was warned, and failed to act.

In the case of the initial outbreak, the Government acted, but there was no template, no warning of the correct way. The Feds, with all their resources, had abandoned the states to themselves. And the elderly, who the states had to step in to save

That 75% of the country’s deaths have occurred in such facilities gives Australia one of the highest rates worldwide of deaths in residential aged care as a percentage of total deaths. It has left families grieving and experts angry that their pleas to reform the sector had long been ignored.

“If those pictures are real why isn’t the MSM talking about them??”

The MSM and the Tech Oligarchs have decided that they will not publish any material critical of the Bidens before the election.

My comment above in relation to Glenn Greenwald is typical. He co-founded a left-leaning news site called ‘The Intercept’ but the editors have prevented him from publishing an article unless all critical references to Creepy Joe are removed.

The MSM have ceased to do journalism. They would rather argue Russian Disinformation for which there is absolutely no evidence (according to the FBI) than to ask Creepy Joe or his crew hard questions.

We have a case where the former CEO of a Biden entity has demonstrated that Creepy Joe was lying when he said he was not involved in Hunter’s business dealings. On the few occasions his name is mentioned in the MSM it is to say “nothing to see here”.

    October 30, 2020 3:05 pm

BTW, the Bidens have not denied the authenticity of the photos or the emails. In fact other people in the email chains have verified them as authentic. And the MSM have been completely incurious about them and shown no interest in seriously investigating them,

Here’s something else you won’t read in the MSM:
