Craig Thomson embroiled in multi-million dollar Immigration Fraud Scam..!

Fresh from a stint in the ‘red turbo room” Craig Thomson – the Labor MP whose sex-with-union-funds scandal nearly brought down a government has been ARRESTED and charged over a $2 million cash for visas scam!
The Australian Federal Police announced it had arrested a 57-year-old man at his home in Terrigal, on the NSW central coast.
Thomson is alleged to have arranged more than 130 fraudulent visa applications over four years, resulting in a $2 million windfall for the scandal-plagued former MP.
According to our EXCLUSIVE SOURCES, the visas relate to workers in ‘food service’ and regional farm industries.
Thomson has been charged with providing false documents and false or misleading information relating to non-citizens, and breaching restriction on charging fees for immigration assistance.
‘The alleged offences in this matter involved the exploitation of Federal Government programs designed to assist Australian businesses, and it is incumbent on the AFP to investigate and prosecute instances of large-scale fraud against Australian taxpayers,’ the AFP told The Gutter Trash.
News of the arrest follows an earlier development where NSW police secured a restraining order to protect the wife of Mr Thomson.
Zoe Arnold had previously defended Thomson when he was found GUILTY of using trade union funds to pay for prostitutes.
Ms Arnold was Mr Thomson’s third wife and by the time he was sentenced they had two daughters.
Who will think of the children….???!!!
Police granted an apprehended violence order on Ms Arnold’s behalf at Gosford Local Court.
The two-year AVO prevents 57-year-old Mr Thomson going anywhere Ms Arnold lives, works or to other places listed in the order.
Ms Arnold had provided a character reference for her husband to the court in 2014 in which she said mr Thomson was ‘devoted to his family, his daughters and me’.’
‘He has worked very hard every day as a private politician and as a private citizen, genuinely trying to make a positive impact on the local community,’ the statement read.
The former member for Dobell, Mr Thomson was convicted on 65 charges of using Health Services Union funds for personal benefit in March 2014.
It was alleged Mr Thomson spent the money on prostitutes and restaurants during his time as the Health Services Union’s national secretary between 2002 and 2007.
He was sentenced to 12 months imprisonment, with nine months of the sentence suspended over two years.
His conviction and sentence were later overturned on appeal, with Mr Thomson fined $25,00 and spared jail time after being found guilty on 13 counts of theft.
The fine related to the withdrawals of $5650 from ATMs using union credit cards, money he was not authorised to use on himself.
What memories!
*Wait for the inquiry
*He hasn’t been charged
*Wait until the court case
*He might appeal
Who will think of the children….???!!!
Craig Thomson is charged with ………. exploiting the exploits the government has put into the system to prop up its visa system.
Pretty sure they’ll (likely) throw the book at him ……. again.
Who’s the guy in charge again? This seems to happen to a lot of ‘connected’ people around him.
“Fraud against taxpayers”?
Who or what are the taxpayers in question? Surely the ‘fraud’ was agin the Government?
We know from last court case that Craig likes to root whores. The immigration scam was probably a way of funnelling fresh young Asian meat to the Red Turbo Room and like places for Craig’s delectation. He’s obviously jaded and looking for something more exotic than the mother of his two children.
It all makes sense when the market is there
Scott Morrison’s can-do capitalists can’t really do wage rises, not for the past decade anyway.
And now they’re demanding to get their imported ‘slaves’ (aka temporary visa holders) back again, to put a lid on wages.

That is an item I’d certainly want to keep, Reb. I already have a butt plug in my office, but that one is a fantastic piece. I bet it has seen some interesting action over the years.
Funnily enough a colleague just walked into my office with the same picture suggesting that it was the sort of thing I would have multiple uses for!

“Funnily enough a colleague just walked into my office with the same picture suggesting that it was the sort of thing I would have multiple uses for!”
The mind boggles.
The mind boggles.
I don’t think that’s the only thing that’s boggling 😯
😆
Boggling. You mean tingling and spasming?
You mean tingling and spasming?
I guess it depends on what floats ya boat really. And how well prepared you were for it 😉
I wonder if Stairman Dan will stand up for Peng Shuai? Chances are about the same as Lebron James calling the CCP out on this – that is zero. They’ve both sucked way too much CCP cock to stop now.
If only Time Paine was a Coalition MP, he’d have kept his role.
Dan Andrews today:
“Why did we have lockdowns? Because we did not have a vaccine. Who forgot to order the vaccine? It wasn’t state premiers.”
#TruthBomb
Does that explain why the Andrews government is facing 58 charges over the hotel quarantine debacle?
What i do not understand is that we all make mistakes. What we should all do is learn from our mistakes and try and be better next time.
… suggesting that it was the sort of thing I would have multiple uses for!
Soooo predictable, must be hard* …

Does that explain why the Andrews government is facing 58 charges over the hotel quarantine debacle?
No. But it does highlight the lack of a Federal Government ICAC!

Y’all talking ’bout the whitey with the sign … he’s BLM???
TBB so woke … 🤣😎🤣😋
TB
My point was Craig Thomson does not learn from his mistakes. He just keeps getting worse.
The 58 charges related to the Victorian government
Soz Bruz (or, Sorry, not sorry 🙂 )
I don’t recall all the left hand wringers getting bothered about this
https://www.abc.net.au/news/2019-06-07/christopher-pyne-burning-effigy/11190452?nw=0
I don’t recall the LNP apologists getting bothered about this

Yes, can you believe the hypocrisy of the left?
Can you believe the hyprocrisy of the LNP apologists..?
Does this happen to you too…?

It’s so embarrassing for the ALP cheer club.
Melburnians have-
* Experienced the longest lockdown in the world
* A government facing 58 charges over the hotel quarantine debacle
* A premier who says he “takes full responsibility” but throws his ministers under the bus
People are understandably annoyed and are entitled to expect more transparency
Does this happen to you too…?
I’m going to assume that was aimed at yomm reb? who has obviously spent the weekend trying to find evidence for his bullshit claim earlier, and all he could come up with was someone burnt a cardboard cutout of the lying little simp whiney pyney
Which is really the same as building a massive wooden gallows, driving it into town, and pretending to lynch the premier. Yea, I see it now
I like a bit of political theatre – such as when ABC drongo Jonathan Green made a John Howard Piñata for his giggling guests to bash the shit out of. And then there is this fine rendition of “The Hanging of Scott Morrison” which could do with a revival:
The faux outrage is hilarious Who doesn’t enjoy a bit of gallows humour from time to time?
Who doesn’t enjoy a bit of gallows humour from time to time?
Not sure where the humour was?
EXPLOSIVE documents reveal the NSW Government did not follow the health advice of its Chief Health Officer Dr Kerry Chant, and took up to a month to follow advice on urgent recommendations.
The poorly controlled outbreak became the largest and most deadly in Australia.
But Dan Andrews….!!!
And then there is this fine rendition of “The Hanging of Scott Morrison” which could do with a revival:
I’ve heard of backwater blogs, but that youtube channel is so far back, it’s a friggin desert lol
Please know it was the truth when Gladys said she was following the wealth advice….
“I’ve heard of backwater blogs”
Either embrace it all or condemn it all. Don’t be a politicised hack. It makes you look like a hypocrite.
Yes, numbers make all the difference.
Because apparently there were tens of thousands carrying model gallows in Melbourne
The hypocrisy of the ALP cheer club is hilarious!
Either embrace it all or condemn it all.
It’s difficult to condemn something you don’t know about 😦
But, for the record, it’s wrong, and not just because they are talentless hacks
https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js
It’s hardly surprising that they have no ‘issues’ with their health system, is it?
btw, how many daily cases are they getting?
https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcSoXBy2Nl9CrC35j1MrombiG_RF4PuBBZeb_A&usqp=CAU
“It’s difficult to condemn something you don’t know about”
Yes but when you did know about it your first reaction was not to condemn it but to trivialise it.
The music put me in mind of the late great Alistair Hulett.
Notice the difference!
* Some nutcase carrying gallows during a protest involving thousands – OUTRAGEOUS!!
* An ABC presenter encouraging play violence against a Liberal… or lots of left students burning an effergy of a Liberal… or some band singing about hanging a Liberal – nothing to see here
Yes but when you did know about it your first reaction was not to condemn it but to trivialise it.
It was trivial. You dived down the depths of youtube to a song no one has seen and no one has heard, as some kind of bullshit equivalence for people demonstrating on the steps of parliaments with a mock hanging of the sitting premier.
Oh, and yomm still hasn’t apologised for lying about all those examples he mentioned, that never happened
Tom R, trivial though it may be, I was just pointing out that your comment “It’s difficult to condemn something you don’t know about” was disingenuous. Apparently in your case it was difficult to condemn something you did know about. Which is why when you first knew about it you didn’t condemn it.
Political theatre is just that. it is not the main cause of violent attacks on politicians.
The main examples of violence against Australian politicians that I can recall are cases of ALP factional infighting such as the attack on Peter Baldwin, political rivalry in the case of John Newman and the drug mafia in the case of Donald Mackay.
This is what crossing the NSW right faction looks like:

Which is why when you first knew about it you didn’t condemn it.
lol yea, whatever floats yer ever sinking boat.
I was just more amazed that you found it. maybe it’s only available on the dark web, where I assume you exist 😉
Of course, you could have just said, yea, what they did was wrong, but instead, you when crawling the deepest darkest recesses to try and find anything remotely similar (and failed by the longest yard, and now you want to try and pretend these creeps pretending to string up a premier are just ‘having some fun’
Says more about you lot than almost anything else you’ve posted
“I was just more amazed that you found it”
It took about two clicks. But your deflection reflects your hypocrisy.
“Of course, you could have just said, yea, what they did was wrong”
I don’t think any of this political theatre was wrong! Can you not read!
Even the kids are on to this fucking paedophile:
I don’t think any of this political theatre was wrong! Can you not read!
Yes, but just wanted it to be clear 😉
All the world’s a stage

• WA premier Mark McGowan shuts office amid death threats
• Perth man fronts court over threats to kill WA Premier
• Far-right protester charged by counter-terror police amid talk of killing Daniel Andrews
• Victorian MP receives death threats ahead of pandemic laws fronting parliament

Tom R, none of those things are political theatre. You’re lying again.
none of those things are political theatre.

So, the big question. Are we going to be seeing pm morrison at the election, or pm dutton?
(it really does just keep sraping that barrel, doesn’t it?)
We are facing the unnerving proposition that Australia’s 30th prime minister struggles to differentiate fact from fiction. What happened on Monday was deeply disconcerting, and all the more troubling because this conduct is an established pattern of behaviour.
https://www.theguardian.com/australia-news/2021/nov/22/the-lie-of-the-land-morrisons-corrosive-behaviour-threatens-trust-rebuilt-during-pandemic
So it’s been proven that one State Premier, let’s call her “Gladys” LIED when she said she’d followed Health Orders when she made a decision not to lockdown Bondi when the outbreak occurred and instead let it run rip.
Another State Premier, let’s call him “Dan” has consistently followed Health Advice even when it’s not politically popular to do so.
But all YoM can do is side with the QAnon anti-vax brigade and interminably whinge about Dane Andrews’ conduct.
YoM would rather side with the populist LIARS even when they’re shown to be LIARS rather than those who made decisions on the actual health advice.
What a bizarre little parallel universe he must live in.
The distinctive feature of the Andrews administration’s handling of Covid is the number of dead Victorians – a signal achievement which has, quite appropriately, been rewarded with criminal charges. I guess Victorians just love him to death – their death!
Guessing Dan killed all those in NSW too?
That must be why the Victorian government is facing 58 charges.
Anyone stupid enough to think they’ll plead not guilty?
Anyone stupid enough to think nsw would ever let it get this far?
“Don’t ask, don’t tell”
btw, ready to apologize for lying again?
That’s the specialty of you and the ALP cheer club. Nothing to do with me
“Anyone stupid enough to think nsw would ever let it get this far?”
NSW is outside YoM’s terms of reference. He only has eyes for Dan Andrews.
One could me mistaken for thinking he’s obsessed. 😆
I didn’t know the NSW government was facing 58 charges! But do you think the government will plead not guilty? Here’s their defence-
* We were in a hurry
* You can die from golf
* Look over there!
* Blame Jennifer Mikakos!
YoM…??

Politicians should not be able to sue for defamation. They have no reputation to lose. And they have the parliamentary soap box to get their side of the story out.
Twitter feels a lot like this these days:
Twitter feels a lot like this these days:
WHY DO YOU HATE TWITTER SO MUCH!
What about facebook, instagram, tiktok?
Now you can hate the youtubes too 🙂
I don’t have Facebook or Instagram or tiktok, Tom R. I’d probably hate them worse.
Dan stuffed the the process of getting the pandemic legislation through the parliament. He treated vital pandemic/public health legislation as a partisan negotiation.
He only has himself to blame
“He only has himself to blame”
I don’t think he is much given to self-reflection much less actually taking the blame for anything – like say the actions of his homicidal government.
President Xi is his role-model after all.
He only has himself to blame
So, not he rabid opposition?
Dan chose to negotiate with only 3 cross benchers, he ignored others. He bypassed the opposition.
Now it’s all falling apart. He treated this legislation as a typical political negotiation, a genuine leader would have risen above that
Dan’s a dud
He bypassed the opposition.
They are pretty clear that whatever position he takes, they will simply take the opposite.
They’ve proposed amendments. What do you think of their amendments?
What do you think of their amendments?
Here’s a thought, why not post a .. llllii.. llii. lin link to them, cos I’m in another state, and I don’t give that much of a toss, cos we already have laws that go beyond yours 😉
Meanwhile, do you remember the good old days when some numpties were salivating over IBAC, and dissing ICAC, good times. the Friendly dude above referred to it, and the cornered rat there is watching the Fed one steaming on at him and his ilk
There won’t be enough popcorn in the world for that one 😉
You expressed a view about the position of the opposition
Do you routinely comment about things you’re not interested in, about which you know nothing?
**hint, the answer is “yes”
about which you know nothing?
Their behaviour has been on full display since the pandemic began, their stance has consistently been the opposite of whatever the Andrews Government does
Picking over morsels is waste of ones time
Meanwhile, you still refuse to apologise
You still refuse to provide a link
And you still refuse to comment about blatant corruption in our Federal Government
Andrews could have chosen to incorporate-
* Appeal the the AAT or HRC regarding orders applied to an individual
* Parliamentary oversight of application of the orders
He chose the rule by personal decree tactics, and negotiated with 3 cross benchers.
It has fallen apart because he didn’t bother to elevate himself above the dull political tactics
No Private Property Almost Killed Off the Pilgrims
This is true. Also it is why native title’s basic design as inalienable common ownership is an impediment to the well-being and prosperity of the owners.
but only private ownership reliably inspires people to conserve and protect.
