New Poll Confirms: Everyone Hates Julia.

June 27, 2012

Despite claims by the Gillard cheer squad that she’s doing a marvelous job, a new poll by Reader’s Digest confirms that Julia Gillard is the nation’s number one “least trusted politician” even surpassing Tony Abbott in in the fibber of all fibbers stakes.

Reader’s Digest commissioned research firm Catalyst Consultancy in April 2012 to survey a representative sample of Australians about trusted people and professions.

The surveys were conducted in two rounds; to determine who has caught the public imagination in the last year, and then to calculate rankings; 1268 adults ranked well-known people and professions on a scale of one to ten.

On a scale of 99, Julia Gillard came in at position 95 surpassing Tony Abbott at spot 91.

In the eyes of Australia, Julia Gillard is regarded as equally trusted and revered as that Olympic bound thug Nick D’Arcy, media mogul Rupert Murdoch, former AFL player Brendan Fevola and controversial shock-jock vile Kyle Sandilands.

Kevin Rudd is regarded as Australia’s most trusted politician at spot 74, with Malcolm Turnbull following closely behind at spot 76, confirming a raft of other polls that Australians want both current leaders out and replaced by Rudd and Turnbull respectively.

The “Wiggles” came in at spot 15, which suggest that they might do a better job of running the country.

Does this mean that the Reader’s Digest is now part of the Hate Media…?

Would that be like, the abridged version…??

  3. June 27, 2012 4:23 pm

And in news just to hand, latest Newspoll sees Julia Gillard losing 3 points as preferred PM at 39, and Abbott unchanged at 38…

  4. June 27, 2012 4:26 pm

After what The Wiggles did to Sam, that is extraordinary!!

    😯

… to survey a representative sample of Australians about trusted people and professions … 1268 adults ranked well-known people and professions on a scale of one to ten …

WOW! 1268 people “representative” of 22 million people, or, a little more “precisely”, 15 million adults …

And people believe this shit … all it shows is that Readers Digest is what it’s become … a means to sell words, any words, any way, any time and at any price … credibility zilch …

… do Catalyst Consultancy run the RD Lottos too? The ones they used to send to me constantly till we had a flurry of letters back and forth to tell them they were using my private information illegally?

In fact, I think, the Readers Digest, head office is in Abuja now … 🙄

“WOW! 1268 people “representative” of 22 million people, or, a little more “precisely”, 15 million adults … “

I think you will find that 1000 is typically the acceptable sample size for a survey to be statistically reliable.

I think you will find that 1000 is typically the acceptable sample size ..

Maybe … but the accuracy is pretty loose … and it depends on how “important” the issue is and how the questions are formulated … a whole nation can be conned if the questions are loaded … we aren’t a Republic because?

“I think you will find that 1000 is typically the acceptable sample size for a survey to be statistically reliable.”

Yeah that’s about the size of a Newspoll or Galaxy Poll et al. It usually offers around a 2 to 3% confidence level.

But I’m with TB on this as this one looks like a rogue poll.

That lying sackful of shit called Gillard cant possibly rank in the Top 100

The sample size is ample to draw conclusions.

There is a simple explanation for everyone not trusting Julia- she’s a proven liar! Strangely, many people prefer to have leaders in positions of trust who aren’t proven liars.

I don’t know what’s worse a fkn Mining Robber Baron who’s a social twit and wants to run the country, ’cause “he can”, or, a political idealogue who’s a twit and wants to run a state because he’s a Wannabe Property Robber Baron …

  17. June 27, 2012 7:19 pm

I can’t believe anyone would still wax lyrical about JBP being an honourable person who should be lauded.
Does Newman live in a fkn vacuum?! 😯

I don’t know much about Newman, but if so many Queenslanders voted for him, he must be a prize f**kwit.

Other than that, why is Hockey rated so highly? Who’s the 5 percent who rate Gillard? That is, how many times did Min and Bacchus vote?

I think it’s safe to say the media is to blame for Gillard’s poor public standing. The media controls the thoughts of most people, though not “us”.

Meanwhile, the public does show some remarkable independence of thought in the low ranking of Abbott.

As TB said, its been cool and wet… so we’ll assume the draconian tax is already working wonders even before implementation.

Go on say something, you'll feel better...
